Quality assurance is obviously of paramount importance to any client when entrusting their work with us and the biggest testimony to our high quality standards is that over 90% of our current business is from returning customers who have witnessed our high quality and health and safety standards at first hand.
Stringent quality control
Having first achieved ISO 9001 accreditation in 2002 our Quality Management System and associated procedures are now firmly ingrained into our everyday practices, this combined with the fact that many of our site operatives have been with us for over a decade means that stringent quality control has become second nature to us.
We value your feedback
However, whilst we are currently accredited with ISO 9001 we do not allow for complacency to set in as we acknowledge that there is always room for improvement.
This is why we invite all our clients to provide us with feedback of their own experience of working with Sui Generis by way of a 'How did we do' survey form.
Environment
A substantial part of our business involves providing spill containment solutions for our clients. Often we attend sites as a direct result of Environment Agency recommendations for lining or bunding works to take place.
GRP (Fibreglass)
The material we use known as Fibreglass or GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) is gaining acceptance amongst engineers as a product that reduces the need to draw upon natural materials such as wood or iron ore.
It is virtually maintenance free so there is no cost to the environment as is the case with, for example, the disposal of spent arisings from refurbishment of steel or wooden structures.

Environmental Management System Accreditation
Every employee is committed to working to the instruction framed within the company quality and environmental management system which has been drawn up in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and ensuring that they are fully implemented. This includes the need to maintain clear lines of communication with our customers and between ourselves at all times.
As part of our commitment to understanding and effectively managing the potential environmental impact of our activities we will:
- Minimise and where reasonably practical eliminate any adverse impact
on the environment. - Minimise the use of energy, resources and waste produced, in a safe manner.
- Encourage the reuse and recycling of materials and ensure appropriate
disposal of all waste. - Control Pollution through regular servicing of our vehicles, machinery and continual evaluation of our manufacturing practices.
We are determined that by implementing this policy and focusing on customer needs and the environment we all share, the names of Sui Generis International and SafeTread will be synonymous with good practices across the industrial, commercial and domestic markets in which we are involved.
