Wall and Floor Lining Service

Do your walls and floors need repairs?

Your walls and floors are exposed to tough conditions – and continued exposure can cause brick, tiles and mortar to fail, allowing chemicals to seep into the concrete and earth below.

This can lead to regulatory violations, fines and most of all – expensive repairs and replacement flooring. But a fibreglass lining can prevent this happening.

Economical, durable GRP linings for all industries

We can provide safe, non-slip and chemical-resistant floor lining for any industry – including hospitals, breweries, schools, dairies, hotels, the pharmaceutical and food production industries and many others.

Best of all, a fibreglass restoration is strong, impact-resistant and will last for many years – saving you money.

Regulation compliant industrial
wall and floor linings

A Fibreglass floor lining resists bacterial growth and is fully compliant with food hygiene regulations.

Surface restorations from Sui Generis are seamless, one-piece and perfectly adhered to almost any surface. They will follow the contours of walls and drainage panels and cap and cove technology allows us to ensure a room can be made water-tight.

Our floor and wall linings can also be solvent-free but both are easy to clean – making them ideal for a wide variety of facilities.

Surface preparationSurface preparation

Our operatives will assess the state of your walls and floors before getting to work. We'll then prepare the surface mechanically using dust control equipment before etching the surface or causing light abrasion if needed. This provides a key for the primer to adhere to.

A primer ensures perfect adhesionA primer ensures perfect adhesion

All surfaces are dusted and primed with the appropriate primer to ensure the permanent adhesion of the resin which follows. If we encounter eroded areas, we can build them up layer by layer until they become flush with the rest of the surface if required before we begin fibreglass lining.

Reinforced with a fibreglass matReinforced with a fibreglass mat

We reinforce the resins with chopped strand fibreglass matting for extra strength.

When this is complete, we apply a penultimate coat of coloured resin. White is the most popular, but most colours are available.

Final top coatFinal top coat

Next, we lightly sand down the surface to remove any irregularities before applying the final top coat.

This gives the surface of your wall or floor a ceramic-like finish that is easy to clean and looks good.

Your fibreglass wall & floor linings guide

The floors and walls of your facility are easily taken for granted, but over time, wear and chemical attack can cause serious damage. This can result in chemicals easting away and mortar, brickwork and even concrete, seeping in to the earth below – and posing a serious threat to the environment.

A fibreglass wall and floor lining from Sui Generis can repair a damaged surface completely – even down to cleaning and coating the existing bricks for re-use in the new surface.

Whatever the state of your walls, you can avoid expensive repairs down the line by asking for a cost-effective fibreglass wall and floor repair.
