A new cast concrete waste water bund was built to contain 3 waste water tanks, a salt tank, and a 3m deep pit.
Of the bunded areas, the 3m deep pit was completed first, with a water resistant GRP lining.
A GRP lining and epoxy coating system was then applied to floor and walls of the waste water bund, plinth and pit areas.
An additional smaller acid silo bund and chemical loading pit area were also GRP lined.
