FRP Louvered Ventilation Shaft Covers

We design and manufacture a wide range of bespoke GRP cabinets, housings, and fibreglass enclosures for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure applications. Every unit is custom-built to meet precise client specifications, offering long-term protection for sensitive equipment in even the most demanding environments. In this particular project, our team was tasked with producing ten large louvered ventilation shaft covers, designed to provide robust weather protection and effective airflow control for a new facility.

Each cover was individually moulded in our dedicated GRP fabrication facility, using high-quality composite materials to ensure strength, rigidity, and corrosion resistance. The roof covers incorporated integrated louvres to allow controlled ventilation while preventing water ingress and debris build-up. Every dimension and fixing point was tailored to the client’s on-site requirements, ensuring a perfect fit and a smooth installation process once delivered to site.

To complete the installation efficiently and safely, the finished GRP enclosures were lowered into position by crane, demonstrating one of the key advantages of lightweight composite construction — easy handling without compromising on strength. Once secured in place, the enclosures provided a clean, maintenance-free finish that will withstand exposure to weather and environmental wear for decades.
