Food Preparation Area - Steps
It was no surprise when a well known food, home and personal products manufacturing company dedicated to caring for the needs of people worldwide contacted us to advise them on a Health & Safety issue threatening the safety of their employees.
The staircases leading to a food preparation area had become heavily worn and food fats were posing a potential slip hazard. Sui Generis were requested to carry out a trial area within one of the many UK factories to rectify the problem. A two-man team were dispatched to carry out the installation of our Safetread™ stair covers with a heavy-duty grit finish.
The non-slip stair covers had to be removable to allow easy cleaning. Our client was so impressed with the trial area that there is now an ongoing programme of refurbishment in place, being carried out throughout the many UK based factories. Sui Generis Safetread™ products are designed to be a quick and cost effective solution to improving safety in potential slip hazard areas and landing covers.
