Leaking bund
If you see plants growing in the joins of a bund, it's not secure. When liquid fills the bund, it will leak out of the cracks the weeds have taken root in. A fibreglass bund lining will cover these weak points and make the bund safe once again.

Bunds are structures built around tanks and storage vessels. They are there to contain leaks and spills, preventing damage to a site and making even dangerous or hazardous liquids easy to clean up.
But over time, leaks and spills can contaminate bunds, making them unsafe and even illegal. And leaks from bunded tanks are more common than you think – over 5,000 oil incidents are reported to the Environment Agency every year. Why use fibreglass to line a bund?
Because it's like placing a bund within a bund – its gives you two layers of protection.
Line a bund with an epoxy coating and you have only a thin un-reinforced barrier between any spill and the bund floor and walls. Normal structural movement can cause the seal to fail.
A fibreglass or GRP lining avoids this problem. Glass Reinforced Plastic bund thicknesses of between 2mm and 6mm effectively create a 'bund within a bund'.
That makes it durable, safe and cost effective – and gives you long lasting peace of mind.
