Barnet Hospital
A new hospital was being built in Barnet, London. The architects had specified stone cornice and detailed the shape and colour based on a previous project. However budgets became tight. The cost of cornice in stone was very expensive in itself, but the additional cost of handling and installation was exorbitant. Sui Generis were commissioned to design the cornice in GRP and achieve an exact finish match to that of the stone. We also installed the mouldings and help bring the project back within budget.
