GRP constructed planters are tough and hardwearing and can withstand the most severe weather conditions. They are equally suitable for interior or exterior use as they will not distort in heat, go brittle through cold weather or soften with age. They also offer excellent impact resistancy, are easy to clean and are virtually maintenance free. Should your requirements be more stringent they can also be made fire retardant.
GRP also has a distinct advantage over other materials traditionally used for the construction of planters as it does not carry the weight of concrete, vulnerability of ceramic or suffer from the corrosion of metal. This combined with its low cost to long life ratio makes it an excellent alternative to these traditional materials.
