Safetread™ Flat Sheets - Data Sheet

Product Description
Safetread™ Flat Sheets are GRP flat gritted sheets designed to
provide slip resistance to floor surfaces.


Characteristics
Safetread™ Flat sheets are 3-4mm thick, although other thickness
can be manufactured. Flat Sheets are usually in black, yellow or
grey, however Flat Sheets can be manufactured to any RAL colour.
A choice of grip grades from heavy to light duty depending on the
application. Safetread™ Flat Sheets’ silicon oxide gritted surface
offers good thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance and
stiffness making it the perfect product when wear and corrosion
resistance are the primary performance requirements.

Tests
All grip grades of SafeTread™ Flat Sheets have surpassed the
minimum requirements of the ‘low potential for slip’ rating specified by
the UK Slip Resistance Group Guide 2000. Please see table below.

Colour
Usually black, yellow or grey, however any RAL colour can be
manufactured.


Technical Data
Safetread™ Flat Sheets are manufactured with high quality fibreglass
impregnated with Orthopthalic, Isophthalic or Vinylester resin. An
inseparable bond is created between the silicon oxide and the glass
reinforced plastic ensuring a long term integrity of the slip resistant
surface.


Maintenance/Cleaning

Remove spills immediately from surface, washing with water.
Pressure wash on low setting periodically to remove dirt from
between grit. Check annually for damage to paint, grit and GRP
substrate and repair as required.
